PRINCE2 Portfolio, Programme & Project Office management (formerly P3O®) Foundation course builds the knowledge needed to design and support effective project, programme and portfolio offices. It highlights the value of P3O in aligning organisational change with business strategy and introduces the key principles, terminology and practices behind this proven best practice framework.
Learning Outcomes
After completing the PRINCE2 Portfolio, Programme & Project Office Foundation course, students will:
- Assess the value of a P3O and determine the most appropriate model to support organisational strategy.
- Understand P3O functions, services, roles and responsibilities across projects, programmes and portfolios.
- Explore the links between strategy, portfolio, programme and project management, including the management challenges these relationships create.
- Apply strategic analysis and portfolio modelling techniques used within a P3O.
- Learn how to establish or revitalise a P3O, including developing the business case and its relationship to the P3M3 Maturity Model.
- Be fully prepared for the P3O Foundation exam.
